The IWUF Secretariat has announced that Wushu will be added as an official
sport of the World University Games ‘Universiade’
The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for
university athletes by the International University Sports Federation
(FISU). The name is a combination of the words “University” and “olympiad”.
The Universiade is often referred to in English as the World University
Games.
The 2017 Games will be hosted by Taipei Taiwan.
Arnold Schwarzenegger & Silvio Morelli (CEO – Blitz Publications), would like to personally invite you to the inaugural Arnold Classic Australia, Martial Arts Festival, on the 13th, 14th & 15th March 2015, at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The Arnold Classic Martial Arts Festival will feature 8 multi discipline martial arts events for adults and juniors.
Under the auspices of Kung Fu Wushu Australia, the Arnold Kung Fu Wushu Classic Australia will feature the country’s top Wushu Taolu (routines) competitors show off their amazing skills.
Alongside these performers will be sanda (sparring) divisions with full-contact punches, kicks and spectacular throws.
The Arnold Classic Kung Fu Wushu Championship is a Goodwill event open to all Kung Fu Wushu practitioners, regardless of affiliation.
